Before the Rig Arrives: What Goes Into Planning a Well
A successful well project starts long before drilling begins.
At Western Drilling, the planning process can include reviewing the property, evaluating site access, considering possible well placement, checking septic and property boundaries, and working through permitting and regulatory requirements.
Every property is different, which is why careful planning matters. Taking the time to understand the site and project needs helps set the foundation for a smoother drilling process from start to finish.

Seasonal Tip: Check Your Well System After a Long, Hot Summer
After months of high temperatures and limited rainfall, many Arizona well and pump systems have been working harder than usual. Increased water use for homes, farms, ranches, and businesses can put extra strain on pumps, pressure tanks, and system components.
Now is a smart time to:
Check for changes in water pressure or flow
Listen for unusual pump cycling
Look for signs of sediment, cloudy water, or reduced performance
Schedule service before small issues become bigger problems
A post-summer system check can help keep your water supply reliable heading into the fall season.
Call (623) 327-1200 or visit westerndrillingco.com to schedule a well or pump inspection.

Fun Fact Friday! 💧
Ever notice how water from a well stays pretty cool, even when it’s blazing hot outside?
That’s because groundwater is insulated deep underground, where temperatures stay much more consistent year-round!
